This is awesome. Seriously awesome idea. Kudos. If I really wanted to buy an X, I would pay you 100 gold, join your guild as a guest, and hang about while people who seriously wanted to SELL an X, Y or Z payed you 100 gold to get at the customers. Everyone wins. You'd have to kick out sellers after 30 minutes or so to ensure turn-over of items on offer, and probably have a 20/80 seller/buyer ratio.

i think it would be good, and i think it would work because people will pay to get there and since the max is 100,less spamming and more of a chance to get your item noticed.unless you can make as many people as you want guests.

I didn't mean it literally... I meant using the bots to try trading with you. However, it would be sorta like a controlled auction house type thing. You could even run auctions there! WOOT!

I know you'd be overwhelmed but here is an idea to get less overwhelmed. Get some people like yourself and open a few guilds:

*Weapons Guild(s)
*Mods Guild
*Runes Guild
*Materials Guild

that might take the pressure off just one person. Also you could limit it to things worth selling like green and gold and max and low req weapons, rare materials or just bulk traders, etc.

Good way to make money as commission too like charge more than 100 for entry

Also don't forget the the Escrow Guild - for those crazy 100k+ deals that need a trustworthy person.

The reason why i would do this would be IM TIRED OF &1 2 3 4 5 6 7 8 9 spams from 1 guy; and guess what? i think a whole guild keeps doing it of spam bots.... cuz i keep Ignoring them but they keep spamming diff stuff 9 times within seconds! so i could be able to kick em

We could have a stock market Guild Annoucment for the "pawn shop"
would carry ecto and other currencies if you wanted a pure gold trade.

But im Kinda besy; i just got the winXP upgrade and im backing up files for the transfer, and in the middle of a torrent.

keep this topic active and can anyone think of downfalls? besides like who wants to stand around and invite people; or tell people in various towns who to wisper to get invited...

Installed new OS had to update framework so ATI's drivers would uhh not give me errors; game runs; UT2K4 also runs well... anyway see he knows of 1 downfall...

Good Point; my sleepy mind would have forgot about that, also my last dream came true; a week ago i was like GAH they need TRADERS in INTERNATIONAL DISTRICTS since there all linked anyway; and tonight i notice them! whoo!
